Villefranche-sur-Mer, France, nestled quietly between Nice and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is in my mind, the prettiest most magical village on the French Riviera. It is quite literally, Pinterest Heaven. With its colourful buildings, winding alleys, sea front brasseries, fashionable inhabitants and sunny beach, le Plage des Marinieres, littered with multi coloured parasols and suntanned bathing beauties. You really should make it a “must see” location if you are planning a trip to The French Riviera. I certainly do, as many times as I can when we are visiting or working nearby.

We have visited the village many times, but this February we were asked by my favourite resort wear brand Riad, to create a shoot concept for their 2019 collection and Villefranche-sur-Mer was the absolute obvious destination to shoot this collection which is full of pretty maxi dresses, puff sleeves, and a subtle elegance that is so perfect for the French Riviera.

Working with brands to create imagery is one of our favourite things to do, and working with Riad in Villefranche-sur-Mer is one of our absolute favourite projects so far! The Riad 2109 Collection will be available from April 2019! I will be ordering one of everything!
