As a wedding photographer living in the South of France I thought it might be super helpful to share with you some of my favourite venues in the region! Today I am going to tell you about a rather special place.

Chateau La Tour Vaucros

Avignon, Provence

A place full of history and pure Provençale beauty, this gorgeous Chateau sets the perfect scene for romantic and decadent weddings and is situated a short distance from Avignon, in the Heart of Luberon, Provence. It’s charms transport you to a magical world and will give your celebrations a quintessential French wedding.

Being private and self-contained, the property will enable you to share special moments with your family and friends, whenever and how long you choose to stay, in the comfort of the beautiful guest houses. Accommodation is in abundance with 14 bedrooms within 4 houses (sleeping up to 34 persons).

You can choose from a variety of different settings for your wedding at the venue, here are some of my favourite!

For an outdoor ceremony in natural surroundings, cocktails under the canopy of pine trees, for a brunch the morning after the wedding  -this is the ideal spot.

The outdoor theatre at the approach to the Château.

A wonderful setting for your ceremony, it can also serve as a children’s play area.

The path leading to the Château beneath the age-old pines and Fountain Terrace

The Fountain Terrace offers another perfect setting – either for cocktails or for a cosy dining experience.

A unique setting in which to hold your wedding ceremony or to have brunch the following day – beneath the shady pines in the height of summer.

The Summer Room (salon d’Eté) overlooking the vines.

Used in conjunction with the Vine Terrace, it offers an indoor/outdoor experience for your reception meal or brunch.

The Grand Reception Room

With its magnificent chandeliers and understated yet stylish décor, it will captivate your guests!  The room and dance floor can be set up and dressed to suit your requirements.

The Château Courtyard

Through the gates you will find another special spot which will add prestige to your event!  The Courtyard, under the age-old  plane tree, will bring a true Provençale feel to your wedding!
