The infamous Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc has been the hotel of choice for Hollywood stars since 1946 and is still the location where many celebrities stay during The Cannes Film Festival. The glamorous seaside hotel has been the retreat and inspiration for artists and literary giants like Scott Fitzgerald and was also the location for the 2015 Dior commercial starring Natalie Portman, you know the one, where she’s a run away bride? I’ll share the video later… Here’s some names to make you giddy, all of who have been regular guests at this achingly glamorous hotel, Marlene Dietrich, Chagall, Eisenhower, Pablo Picasso, Fred Astaire, Humphrey Bogart, Richard Burton, Charlie Chaplin, George Clooney and Harrison Ford, as well as prominent tycoons, businessmen and members of several royal families. Impressed much?!

The Venue

Wedding couples can make an entrance by private launch. Guests can make a procession down the Grande Allée lined with candles. With a private terrace overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean, the magnificent Salon Iles de Lérins hosts banquets for 200 guests. It is an ideal space which can be divided into three and then transforms into a graceful ballroom.
